eczema

Eczema also known as “atopic dermatitis” is an inflammatory skin condition in which patients suffer from itchy, often red, skin. It can start in newborns, and can affect patients of any age. There are numerous treatments from topical therapies to phototherapy to biologic medications.

Skin cancer screenings are an important way to detect skin cancer at an early stage to ensure effective and safe treatment. A dermatoscope and close visual evaluation of the skin is used to determine if there are any suspicious lesions.

hair loss

Alopecia - or hair loss - can take many forms. It can be caused by underlying health conditions, related to aging, or even caused by the immune system. Evaluation for hair loss, can involve an examination, bloodwork, or even a biopsy to help determine the cause of the loss.
